Softball Recap: Armwood Comes Up Short

Armwood and Plant squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Armwood had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 14-0. Considering the last time the Hawks couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Armwood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Plant, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Armwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plant, they will challenge Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sharks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
