Baseball Recap: Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization Victorious

Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the South Wake Sabres.

Daniel Potnick tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Colton Stone was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI. Benjamin Kinsala was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February.

Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.
