Soccer Recap: Barstow's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Barstow can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eisenhower Eagles 2-1. The Aztecs wouldn't have won without Cornell Campbell, who scored the game-winner.

Barstow's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Eisenhower, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Barstow wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Citrus Valley on the 28th. As for Eisenhower, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bloomington at 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
