You can't lose the match if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Brookville's strategy against National Trail on Monday. Brookville walked away with a 42-31 win over National Trail. The win was just what Brookville needed coming off of a 53-31 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Ashlee Haupt, who scored 27 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Brookville's points. Meanwhile, Oakwood's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chaminade Julienne Catholic.
