Volleyball Recap: Xavier Prep Comes Up Short

Xavier Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cathedral City Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Xavier Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Cathedral City, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Xavier Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Coachella Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cathedral City will take on rival Indio at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
