Basketball Recap: Clearwater Valley Falls Despite Big Games from Tessa Lundgren and Sypress Martinez + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Clearwater Valley and Potlatch, and Potlatch kept the tradition alive. The Rams received a blow on Monday as they fell 55-40 to the Loggers. The Rams were down 45-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Clearwater Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sypress Martinez, who posted 18 points, and Tessa Lundgren, who earned 12 points.

Potlatch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cadance Carlson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. Those 11 points gave Carlson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daycee Fry, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Clearwater Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Potlatch, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
