Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Jefferson Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Whippets of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-7.

Kaia Jones paced Whitewater's offense, picking up three kills. Jones got some help from Mya Graves-Koran and her six assists.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Jefferson, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Whitewater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against East Troy on the 18th. As for Jefferson, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Delavan-Darien on the 18th.
