Baseball Recap: King Academy Takes a Loss

King Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marlboro Academy Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Tuesday.

Elijah Hutto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played.

King Academy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Marlboro Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season.

As of now, neither King Academy nor Marlboro Academy have any future games scheduled.
