Basketball Recap: Wylie's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Wylie saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hendrickson Hawks by a score of 64-57. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Hawks are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Wylie and bumps their season record up to 16-4. As for Hendrickson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Wylie and Arlington Heights will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hendrickson, they will look to defend their home court on January 3, 2025 against Pflugerville at 12:00 p.m.
