Bellflower will be up against a hot Nogales team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Nobles breezed past Ontario to the tune of 29-0 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Nobles have won by exactly 29 points.

He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaac Guzman, who picked up 93 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bellflower's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norwalk. While the Buccaneers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Lancers 7-0.

Bellflower's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Nogales, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Nogales has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 283.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bellflower struggles in that department as they've been averaging 180.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
