Baseball Recap: Peru Tigers vs. Lewis Cass Kings
Peru blew Lewis Cass out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Lewis Cass got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Kings by a score of 11-9. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Bryce Hill and Lucas Musser did some serious damage despite the final result: Hill went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs, while Musser went 3-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jacob Boswell, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs.
Peru's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lewis Cass, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-3.
