Basketball Game Preview: Chiles Timberwolves vs. Gadsden County Jaguars

The Chiles Timberwolves will challenge the Gadsden County Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Chiles came up short against Madison County and fell 54-42. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Cowboys are ranked 216th).

Meanwhile, Gadsden County played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 68-29 loss at the hands of Madison County. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.

Gadsden County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Chiles, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
