Baseball Game Preview: Everett Crimson Tide vs. Somerville Highlanders

The Everett Crimson Tide will challenge the Somerville Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Everett is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Lynn English on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Crimson Tide have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Meanwhile, while Somerville put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Lynn English. The Highlanders blew past the Bulldogs 12-0. The Highlanders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Somerville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Everett, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
