Soccer Recap: Newberry Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After soaring to four goals the game before, Newberry was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Fox Creek Predators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fox Creek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in March.

Newberry's goal came courtesy of Alondra Rojas, which was the first she's scored this season.

Newberry's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7-1. As for Fox Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.

Coincidentally, Newberry and Fox Creek will both be playing Silver Bluff the next time they take the pitch. The Predators will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
