Poteau skates past Miami with ease

Recap: Poteau Pirates vs. Miami Wardogs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Poteau Pirates had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Miami at home to the tune of 41-13. Poteau's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Miami lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hunter Nichols. Despite the final result, he rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown.
Poteau's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30 points. As for Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Poteau will square off against Newcastle at TBD on Friday. Newcastle is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
