Softball Recap: Terrell Takes a Loss

Terrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 20-0 to the Red Oak Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on March 5th.

Terrell's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Red Oak, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Terrell will challenge rival Crandall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Red Oak is set to face off against their familiar foe Midlothian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Oak is on a five-game streak of home wins, Midlothian Heritage a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
