Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Lauren Young stepped things up a notch to give South Oldham the 'W'. Young went 3-for-4 with two RBI, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Looking ahead, Young and South Oldham will take on Elizabethtown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Young had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in April of 2024 8-2.
