Lakeland is 4-0 against Lake Region since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Lakeland Dreadnaughts will venture away from home to square off against the Lake Region Thunder at 8:00 p.m. Lake Region took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeland, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lakeland beat Sebring 64-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dreadnaughts.

Meanwhile, Lake Region was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 48-37 to George Jenkins.

Lakeland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Lake Region, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Lakeland barely slipped by Lake Region in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 58-57. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Lake Region's Brenton Allen, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points along with six boards and four steals.
