Softball Recap: Hancock Eagles vs. Curie Condors

Hancock can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Curie Condors 13-1. Hancock's win was all the more impressive since Curie was averaging only 2.25 runs allowed on the season.

Hancock got a massive performance out of Hannah Scuito, who went 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Solis, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Hancock's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Curie, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Hancock will stay at home for another game and welcome Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hancock will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Curie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kelly at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kelly is coming into the matchup with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning Curie will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
