Taholah extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 14-7. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Willapa Valley Vikings. Surprisingly, this marked the Chitwhins' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Taholah found their leader in sophomore Markie McCrory, who had ten digs and three aces.

Taholah was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

As for Willapa Valley, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-5. Surprisingly, this marked their third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Despite the loss, Willapa Valley had strong showings from Cassandra Sipp, who had 17 digs and two aces, and Lauren Matlock, who had 27 assists and five digs. Matlock is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Looking ahead, Taholah will square off against Columbia Adventist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Willapa Valley, they will face off against Wahkiakum at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
