Volleyball Recap: Muscle Shoals Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

Muscle Shoals saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Hillcrest Patriots.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 26-24.

Makenzie Sears paced Muscle Shoals' offense, picking up seven kills. Sears got some help from Olivia Chapman and her 17 assists.

Muscle Shoals' loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for Hillcrest, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.

Muscle Shoals has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against East Limestone on the 13th. As for Hillcrest, they will take on Bob Jones at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
