Softball Recap: Boyne City Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Boyne City entered their tilt with Kingsley on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Stags 17-5. For the Ramblers, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 victory the Stags walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2019.

Boyne City got a massive performance out of Sadie Bush, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those four hits gave Bush a new career-high. Josie LaCombe was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Boyne City lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Boyne City's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Kingsley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyne City will head out to square off against Gaylord at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingsley, they will venture away from home to take on Bellaire at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
