It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Weir had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Brooke Bruins a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Red Riders have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Weir is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Brooke, they dropped their record down to 7-20 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Weir nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
