Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cassville). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the McDonald County Mustangs a 13-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the game before.

The victory made it two in a row for Cassville and bumps their season record up to 8-11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for McDonald County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
