Football Recap: Manistique Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Manistique was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 32-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Iron County Wykons. The Emeralds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wykons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Manistique's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Iron County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manistique will host Gwinn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Iron County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against L'Anse at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Purple Hornets' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Wykons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
