It was a good run, but Roosevelt unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Palo Verde Panthers. The shutout was out of character for the Mustangs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Palo Verde, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Roosevelt and Palo Verde will both be playing South the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Spartans at 3:40 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 4:50 p.m.
