 The Mountain Mission Challengers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell  78-71 to Petersburg. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Mountain Mission lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Ana Chacha, who  dropped  a double-double on 38 points and 19  rebounds. That was a full 53.5% of Mountain Mission's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Millicah Vicent was another key contributor,  scoring 26 points along with five  assists and three  steals.
 Mountain Mission's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Petersburg, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
 Mountain Mission's road trip will continue as they head out to face Greater Beckley Christian at 3:00  p.m.  on January 15th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in their respective states (Greater Beckley Christian is ranked 115th in West Virginia, while Mountain Mission is ranked 122nd in Virginia). As for Petersburg, they will be playing at home against Hampshire at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
