Basketball Recap: Dominion Christian Piles Up the Points Against Utopian Academy for the Arts

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Dominion Christian on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Utopian Academy for the Arts out of the water with a 49-7 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Knights had established a 37-point advantage.

Dominion Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elizabeth Johnson, who posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and six blocks. Those six blocks gave Johnson a new career-high. Alexa Vreken was another key player, going 6-for-8 on her way to 12 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Dominion Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
