Canadian hadn't done well against Dalhart recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 5-2 win over the Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-1 back in March.

The victory made it two in a row for Canadian and bumps their season record up to 14-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Dalhart, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11-1.

Looking ahead, Canadian will head out to square off against River Road at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River Road will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Canadian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dalhart, they will challenge Bushland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
