Windham has gone a perfect 5-0 against Stonington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Whippets will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Bears at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Windham came up short against Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial and fell 24-14. The Whippets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Stonington hadn't done well against New London recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-14 win over the Whalers.

Stonington's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Windham, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Windham beat Stonington 13-6 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Do the Whippets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
