Volleyball Recap: Smoky Valley Takes a Loss

Smoky Valley lost against Rock Creek back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Mustangs.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19.

Kenzley Haxton paced Smoky Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Haxton got some help from Illie Debaere and her six assists.

Smoky Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Rock Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Smoky Valley and Rock Creek will both be playing Abilene the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
