Baseball Recap: Au Gres-Sims Takes a Loss

Oscoda hit Au Gres-Sims with a four-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolverines fell 8-5 to the Owls. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Au Gres-Sims' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Oscoda, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Au Gres-Sims will face off against Mio-Au Sable at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oscoda, they will square off against Houghton Lake at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
