Recap: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Crescent Tigers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seneca, the Pendleton Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They put the hurt on Crescent with a sharp 48-24 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Pendleton has managed all season.

Pendleton found their leader in underclassman Michael Barnett, who scored 14 points along with five assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnett has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Luke Gray, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Pendleton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Crescent, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton will take on Daniel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crescent, they will be playing at home against West-Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West-Oak has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
