Volleyball Recap: Sumter Comes Up Short

Sumter was the 2-0 winner over Patrick Henry Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Gamecocks fell 2-0 to the Patriots on Saturday.

Sumter's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-2. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Sumter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Andrew Jackson Academy on the 4th. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against King's Academy on the 4th.
