Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Southlake Christian Academy

SouthLake Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Westminster Catawba Christian, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Indians on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jackson Drayton was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Hogg, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The win got SouthLake Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coincidentally, SouthLake Christian Academy and Westminster Catawba Christian will both be playing Gaston Day the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Indians will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
