Baseball Recap: Cory-Rawson Falls to Crestline in First Game of Season

Cory-Rawson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crestline Bulldogs on Monday.

Cory-Rawson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Gregorowicz, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. Those two stolen bases gave Gregorowicz a new career-high.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cory-Rawson is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Northwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crestline, they are taking a road trip to face off against Black River at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
