Charlottesville is 0-10 against Orange County since May of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Black Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Fighting Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Charlottesville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Charlottesville came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Western Albemarle, falling 13-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Black Knights have suffered since March 14, 2024.

Charlottesville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Arbelaez, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Another was Mason Divers, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Orange County's offense. They lost 11-0 to Riverbend on Friday. The Fighting Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orange County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Charlottesville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
