The Raleigh Charter Phoenix are taking a road trip to take on the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Raleigh Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Raleigh Charter didn't have quite enough to beat East Wake Academy and fell 3-2.

Anisha Kathpalia and Tori Lutz scored both of the Phoenix's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but NCSSM: Durham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand East Wake Academy a 2-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for NCSSM: Durham.

The win got NCSSM: Durham back to even at 5-5-1. As for Raleigh Charter, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Raleigh Charter came up short against NCSSM: Durham when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Phoenix avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
