Softball Recap: Gardena Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Gardena's offense. They lost 23-0 to the San Pedro Pirates on Thursday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 20-2 to the Pirates when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gardena is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for San Pedro, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Gardena and San Pedro will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Panthers see the field they'll take on Narbonne at 3:15 p.m. on the 23rd. As for San Pedro, their break will end when they face Rancho Dominguez at 3:15 p.m. on the 23rd.
