Catalina Foothills has gone a perfect 6-0 against Pueblo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Falcons will face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Catalina Foothills has given up an average of 25.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Catalina Foothills is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Snowflake on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons were dealt a 45-13 loss at the hands of the Lobos. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Lobos are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, while Pueblo put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Copper Canyon. The Warriors breezed past the Aztecs to the tune of 41-0. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Catalina Foothills better keep an eye on Roman Otero. He was instrumental in Pueblo's win, throwing for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in one score on the ground. Those two passing touchdowns gave Otero a new career-high.

Pueblo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Pueblo's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Catalina Foothills, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Everything went Catalina Foothills' way against Pueblo in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Catalina Foothills made off with a 23-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
