Basketball Recap: Central Lee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Notre Dame last Tuesday, Central Lee came back down to earth. The Central Lee Hawks fell to the Danville Bears 48-44. The Hawks have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Central Lee's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Danville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Central Lee will square off against New London at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Lee is facing New London at the right time seeing as New London is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Danville, they will take on Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
