Mathews and West Point are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2021, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Pointers at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Mathews has given up an average of 65.1 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mathews is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Wednesday. They took a hard 57-39 fall against Carver College and Career Academy.

Meanwhile, West Point hadn't done well against Middlesex recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Pointers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Chargers 44-41.

The win got West Point back to even at 8-8. As for Mathews, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Mathews came up short against West Point when the teams last played back in January, falling 59-47. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
