Basketball Recap: Eagleville Takes a Loss

Eagleville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 54-43 to Rockvale. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to Rockvale from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Rockvale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kailah Crawford, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points. The dominant performance also gave Crawford a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Caydence Thomas, who went 7 for 16 en route to 17 points.

Eagleville's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Rockvale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Eagleville has already played their next game (against Moore County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rockvale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-25 win against Riverdale on the 28th.
