Deep Creek had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lakeland on Tuesday. The Hornets blew past the Cavaliers 3-0. The Hornets not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

Deep Creek's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Lakeland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
