After low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Rio Mesa brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They claimed a resounding 39-12 victory over the Santa Barbara Dons. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Rio Mesa got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jadeline Gonzalez out in front who threw for 160 yards and five TDs.
