Baseball Recap: Live Oak Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Live Oak, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Dunham Tigers on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Live Oak got a great performance from Sawyer Pruitt as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brock Davis, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Cal Cassard, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Live Oak hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dunham struck out ten times.
