Soccer Recap: Hinsdale Central Comes Up Short

Hinsdale Central lost against New Trier back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils came up short against the Trevians, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Hinsdale Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 277th, while New Trier are ranked 88th).

Hinsdale Central is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-1. As for New Trier, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Hinsdale Central will be playing at home against Proviso West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Trier, they will venture away from home to challenge Niles West at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
