Baseball Recap: Ralls Comes Up Short

Ralls fell victim to New Deal and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Jackrabbits in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Ralls' loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for New Deal, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ralls is set to take on their familiar foe Abernathy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Deal will square off against rival Sudan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.2, the Hornets 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
