Little Snake River had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Burlington Huskies 53-8. The Rattlers haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Snake River will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Farson-Eden at 12:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Burlington, they will venture away from home to challenge Kaycee at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Huskies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
