Volleyball Recap: Immaculate Heart Takes a Loss

Immaculate Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Marlborough Mustangs. The Pandas were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Immaculate Heart was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Marlborough work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 25-18.

Tatawan Vongfak had an outrageously good game for Marlborough as she had 21 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Vongfak has posted since back in August.

Immaculate Heart's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Marlborough, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Coming up, Immaculate Heart will take on Notre Dame (SO) at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Marlborough, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against El Camino Real on the 26th.
